Thank you for taking the time to read about us. We are so excited about expanding our family. Your courage in making this decision is admirable and we are very grateful. Our number one goal is to raise children in a loving and happy home. We adopted Riley in April 2007 and kept in contact with Riley's birthmother for the first 6 months of Riley's life. Since then, however, she has decided to discontinue contact with Riley and with us. We really liked having that open relationship with her early on because we wanted Riley to grow up knowing who gave her life. We only hope that Riley's birthmother will change her mind in the future. We would love for our next adoption to be open as well.

Tom Striper Fishing
 Tom is the most wonderful person I know. He is compassionate, caring, friendly and a blast to be around. His hobbies are fishing, boating and reading. Tom was a stay at home dad for the first 4 months of Riley’s life and was amazing with her. Tom is a wonderful dad and loves spending as much time as possible with Riley reading to her or playing with her on the floor. Tom looks forward to teaching his children so many things, like fishing, as his dad taught him. Tom is a Project Manager at a major corporation and loves what he does.

Melanie is truly a great person to know. She is easy to be around and always makes me laugh. Melanie takes great care of our home and is the planner in the family. When Melanie plans a weekend or a vacation, we are sure to have the best time! Melanie is currently a stay-at-home mom. She cares about our community and has done volunteer work for several “at risk” youth organizations. Melanie has a lot of friends and is always there for them when they need her, providing unconditional love and support and she is an amazing wife and mom. Melanie and Riley enjoy spending time together. Melanie works on keeping her grounded and instilling good values in her.
